Nestled in the serene foothills of the Garhwal Himalaya, where lush greenery carpets the fertile land and the sacred River Balganga flows in eternal grace, Devbhoomi Umeed Foundation was born out of a shared dream — the imagination of like-minded individuals who believe in the power of hope, compassion, and collective action.

Guided by the blessings of Lord Shiva's Beleshwar Temple, our foundation draws inspiration from the divine energy of this sacred land to work selflessly for the betterment of society. We are based in Beleshwar Market and we are committed to uplifting the lives of the poor, the needy, and the underprivileged — especially focusing on education, women empowerment, healthcare, and sustainable development in the hilly and rural regions of Uttarakhand.

Our Objectives

Promote Quality Education for All Children

To ensure that every child, regardless of their economic background, has access to quality education. We provide scholarships, school supplies, learning materials, and mentoring support to underprivileged children in rural and hilly areas. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty through education and create opportunities for every child to achieve their full potential.

Empower Women Through Skills and Economic Independence

To create pathways for women to achieve economic independence and social empowerment through skill development programs, vocational training, and entrepreneurship opportunities. We facilitate the formation of self-help groups and provide market linkages to enable women to lead with confidence and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.

Ensure Access to Healthcare and Sanitation

To provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to underserved rural and hilly communities. We organize free health camps, distribute medicines, promote health awareness, and implement clean water and sanitation projects. Our objective is to improve overall public health and reduce preventable diseases through education and intervention.

Promote Sustainable Agriculture and Farmer Welfare

To support local farmers by promoting organic farming practices, modern agricultural techniques, and sustainable farming methods. We provide training, organic inputs, and market linkages to improve agricultural productivity and farmer livelihoods while protecting the environment. Our focus is on creating a self-reliant and prosperous farming community.

Protect and Preserve the Environment

To restore ecological balance and preserve the natural beauty of the Himalayan region through tree plantation drives, waste management initiatives, and environmental awareness programs. We aim to combat deforestation, prevent soil erosion, and promote conservation practices that ensure a sustainable environment for future generations in Devbhoomi.

Rescue and Care for Animals in Need

To provide rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation services for abandoned, injured, and stray animals. We work toward establishing dedicated animal shelters with veterinary facilities to ensure every animal receives compassionate care, medical attention, and a chance at a better life. Our objective is to create a society that treats all living beings with kindness and respect.
